It's a Wrap!Affirmation always feels good, especially after working so hard. It was wonderfully gratifying to get this note from the executive producer and director of MLP:FiM as I wrapped up season III:

You're makin it hard for me to find stuff to call.
I suppose this is technically the last episode for you this season. Wish we could celebrate somehow. It's been a solid, solid season for music score. You and your team are definitely killin it, and i'm sure the Bronies will feel it too. They're gonna have youtube videos where they extract the dialogue and SFX and just listen to the score!

I have to ask: what'd you think of the Beatles remasters and what's your take on the whole mono vs stereo debate?

i havent listened to the mono collection and i have had it for years, at least it made it into my cave. the stereo mixes are strange, with extreme panning or unusual balances - i bet the mono sounds better.

It definitely sounds better with the earlier albums, but that's to be expected. Around Sgt. Pepper I thought stereo sounds better 'cause it's easier to hear the bass and drums. No wonder people failed to appreciate Ringo's genius; he was drowned out in the mix!
